I am going to be running an open ladies singles event later this year.


- Cost will be 20.00 per player, limited to 64 players.
- Best of 11 frames up to quarter final, best of 13 then a best of 15 final.
- Open event, so welsh, irish and english ladies can enter.
- Non seeded, open draw.

I was thinking about making it double elimination and having a weekend event instead, comments please?

As I say its in the pipeline, nothing decided but before I publicise it or arrange a venue, I would like your comments.

So far the feedback seems to be:-

- cost ok
- double elimination, preferred format
- 2 day event
- no dress code

Anyone with anything different?

Can we go through dates and make sure it avoids as much as possible? Give me a buzz or drop me an e-mail, i know you're talking about later in the year but it's already quite busy, not least thanks to the EBA with their stooopid b-event.

six or more tables i think would be ok, will do a schedule based on 64 though to check.
