I have organised a coaching session for the ladies on Wednesday night in Cue Here with the SPA coach, Paul Preston.

I have emailed everyone tonight with details - session will commence at 7pm. I have also organised a couple of tables from Gary in Cue Here to facilitate the coaching session.

Can you please indicate here if you are able to attend the session.

Big thanks to Paul for his time last night. Very insightful and, with a little more uptake, could make a fantastic difference to the standard of the squad.
Thumbs up!

Totally agree - I learned things last night I never knew I never knew Grin I have to say that he gave quite a few tips last night, and while I think it'll be quite difficult to try and remember to do everything so differently, I thought it was fascinating. I felt after it like I was potting balls for fun, and I knew WHY I was potting them.

Paul is very very knowledgeable on the game and I agree Gill - Paul could help us make a huge difference to the standard of our game.

I would urge as many of the girls that are going to Brid Sad as is possible to get in touch to meet up even at least once before it, as the knowledge Paul could impart to you in even one session, might just make all the difference.

I also spoke to him last night with a view to having some coaching videos on here, so watch this space on that one, we will work on that and get the videos online.

Scotlaaaaaaaaand!

Im delighted that your all learning new things towards the development of your games and all that.. But until Claire and i get our helicopter can you keep it to yourselfs, thanks... lol No but really, Elaine! Balls, potting, fun, you? The man must be a pure genius to teach you how to pot a ball for more fun, if you catch my drift. Sooooo, spill...... what did he say, cmon, i want diagrams and everything... Never met this Paul fellow but im loving him already! This living in England thing is not funny at all......

 Shona - Don't worry, as i said above, we'll be looking at putting the videos online as well.

Bascially for me Shona, the big difference was in him teaching me how I sighted the ball. I had no idea how I sighted the ball, and in fact seemed to sometimes look at the cue ball, sometimes the object ball and sometimes neither - just the table!! By sighting the object ball all the time I was far more aware of how

He has agreed to rip my game to shreds since I'm not going to Brid and have the time to do so. I'm really looking forward to it. Never thought I'd be saying that after the past two years Wink Wink

What's the likliness of Paul doing a session in Edinburgh? Which would work better for the Midlothian girls too I imagine... Last time I drove from Edinburgh to Airdrie straight after work it took about 2 hours... Sad

Yes, Edinburgh would be great, if Paul could manage it. I would definitely do my best to make it to this Grin

I will ask Paul but remember ladies we have to cover his expenses plus give him something for his time.

He is fantastic, elaine, gill, laura and I enjoyed it and we all got something to work on.
