As we are taking three teams (one a and two b teams) to Bridlington I would like to ask that we all (yes everyone included in the squads) get together to raise some funds towards the cost of it. Team entry fee is 150.00 so as a minimum we have to raise 450.00.

We also need to help raise some money towards the new polo shirts that the SPA have kindly agreed to lend all the Scotland teams the money for (the polo shirts are the same as the ones we got for France).

Bottom line is, we all need to take some responsibility for fundraising, after all its beneficial to us all.

I am therefore after suggestions from you all, we have 14 weeks to raise as much money as possible. Remember, if you get a sponsor, you receive 20% of the money donated, just like Jenny and Kim got when they got out team sponsors.

So come on Team Scotland, lets get to work ................

I've e-mailed you back Yvo, asking if there was some sort of template letter or the like, as I'm going to send it off to local big businesses round here eg BP, Irn Bru etc, using the angle that players from the vacinity are in Scotland's national teams.

Try anywhere you can think of though including those you tried last year - different year, different budget and possibly different person. Good luck!

Why not tie it in with a tour maybe to maximise how many can make it? I'm sure Daz or someone would offer some sort of help. If I can help from a distance I will, just let me know what you need.

Why not tie it in with one of your tours then? I was going to suggest something along the lines of having simultaneous ones in different areas. Maybe Inverness, Glasgow(ish), Edinburgh(ish) and now Cardiff! Perfect! Lol.
